Young movie makers from the Greater Region take center stage in the 18th round of productions
The 18th Edition of Créajeune Cross-border Youth Film Competition Opens for Submissions
The Créajeune cross-border youth film competition, now in its 18th edition, is inviting young filmmakers from the French, German, and Luxembourgish border regions to join and showcase their creativity.
Eligible participants can be children up to 12 years old, youth aged 13 to 17, or young adults aged 18 to 29. The competition welcomes entries in various categories, including feature films, documentaries, animations, experimental films, and music videos. For music videos, there are no age restrictions up to 29.
The submissions must be up to 20 minutes in length and produced in 2024 or 2025. The best contributions will be showcased and awarded at festivals in Saarbrücken, Metz, and Luxembourg.
The competition is supported by numerous partners, such as the Ministry of Education and Culture of Saarland, the State Chancellery of Saarland, Arbeit und Kultur Saarland gGmbH, Région Grand Est, Passeurs d'Images, Ville de Metz, the Stadtnetz Quattropole, the Landeszentrale für politische Bildung des Saarlandes, and other sponsors.
