Tourists enjoying summer vacation receive nourishment and healthcare assistance

The Russian Minister of Transport, Roman Starovoit, has revealed that there are 110 inspection points overseeing the access routes to the Crimean Bridge. In case of prolonged tourist checkpoints causing traffic congestions, provisions such as drinking water, restroom facilities, and medical aid will be available to travelers, Starovoit informed.

He explained that prioritizing the streamlining of inspection processes is essential while maintaining quality control to ensure smooth passage. The potential for queues can arise due to heightened security measures, Starovoit added.

The roads within the recently annexed territories of Russia are currently considered satisfactory, the minister reported, suggesting this alternative route should also be presented to tourists. Starovoit noted that the chosen path is almost 90 km shorter than the Crimean Bridge itself.

According to TASS, the Ministry of Transport is planning to enhance train seats bound for Crimea, as well.

As the Crimean Bridge on the Kuban side welcomed a new inspection platform for the tourist season, it's crucial for drivers to brace for the heightened security checks. These procedures have resulted in delays and extended wait times during periods of increased threat, such as following military alerts from Ukraine.

Though supplementary personnel are stationed for thorough vehicle and passenger checks at the checkpoints, the ongoing focus has primarily been on security with few enhancements to traveler facilities or traffic alleviation beyond personnel reinforcements.

Travelers using the Crimean Bridge should prepare for heightened security checks due to the ongoing focus on security, which may cause delays and extended wait times. To mitigate inconveniences, it would be beneficial to explore alternative routes within recently annexed territories, particularly one that's almost 90 km shorter, offering a more comfortable lifestyle for travelers.
