Launches debut mooncake collection at Hotel Indigo Saigon The City

The Cà-Moon Mooncake Collection by Hotel Indigo Saigon The City marks the hotel's debut offering for the Mid-Autumn Festival, celebrating its first celebration since its opening. Inspired by the traditional Vietnamese stacked lunchbox known as "cà-mên" or "gamelle", this collection seamlessly blends tradition and modernity, reflecting Saigon's rich cultural heritage and the imagery of the Mid-Autumn moon.

Each box of Cà-Moon mooncakes contains four delightful treats: Tom Yum Seafood Mixed Nuts, Braised Chicken with Black Pepper, Strawberry & Pink Guava, and Lotus Seed & Pandan. Each mooncake, carefully crafted with premium ingredients, weighs approximately 150g and represents a tier in a lunchbox, offering a culinary journey with every bite.

Traditional and contemporary elements harmoniously coexist in each Cà-Moon mooncake. While every mooncake, except for the Strawberry & Pink Guava, contains a salted egg yolk, the flavours are infused with contemporary twists that pay homage to Ho Chi Minh City's vibrant food scene.

The Cà-Moon mooncakes are part of Hotel Indigo Saigon The City's offerings, priced at $55 for a box of four. Amy Nha, the general manager of the hotel, shared that Cà-Moon aims to be more than just a seasonal gift. It is an invitation to embrace the journey of discovery and connection at the heart of the hotel, embodying the festive spirit of Mid-Autumn while highlighting local customs through its visual and thematic presentation.
