Koblenz Celebrates German Unity Day with Diverse Events

Koblenz and the surrounding Hunsrück region are buzzing with activities this long weekend, celebrating German Unity Day with a variety of events near me for all tastes. From cultural festivals to animal encounters and culinary delights, there's plenty to explore from October 3 to 5.

Kicking off the weekend, the Geierlay Suspension Bridge in the Hunsrück marks its tenth anniversary with a special program from October 3 to 5. Meanwhile, history buffs and fantasy enthusiasts can step back in time at the Medieval and Fantasy Festival on the Loreley rock, featuring historical figures, jugglers, minstrels, and even a dragon named Fangdorn.
