Holiday Reflections: Two Women Find Comfort in Past and Present
Constance Erck and Heidrun Kaupschäfer, both on holiday, find themselves reminiscing about their pasts in different ways. While Erck feels a touch of sadness for not keeping items from her childhood, Kaupschäfer finds joy in the familiar light at Travemünde.
Erck's partner recently showed her a collection of drawings from the DDR era, published on a children's website from Erfurt. The drawings, though humorous, also evoke a sense of nostalgia in Erck. Meanwhile, Kaupschäfer, holidaying in Travemünde, enjoys leisurely walks with her dog towards Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, reminiscent of her past experiences in the area.
Erck and Kaupschäfer, each in their own way, find solace and reflection in their holiday experiences. While Erck discovers a piece of her past through the DDR drawings, Kaupschäfer finds joy in the familiar light and scenery of Travemünde.
