Welcome aboard, thrill-seekers and luxury enthusiasts! Strap in and enjoy the wild ride as we dive into the cozy cesspool of elitist excess, all while maintaining our legendary, unfiltered take! Let's talk about the goddamn fantastic experience flying Vietnam Airlines' regional Business Class on their A321. Warning: This account will contain unadulterated pleasure and pure, undiluted satisfaction.

Right off the bat, we're setting foot in Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat International Airport, a goddamn haven for the overworked and under-rested. On today's menu, let's feast our eyes on our flight details for VN651 and eat up that sweet, sweet regional jewellery featuring you and yours, Singapore.

Our star of the show for this journey is none other than one of Vietnam Airlines' trusty workhorses, the A321. With its 62-strong fleet of these bad boys, this bird is a sight to behold, taking to the skies with both A321neo and A321ceo variants.

Our chariot for this journey is VN-A601, a 12-year-old A321-200, fresh out of the womb back in 2013. Leased like the damn working horses of the old west, it's a hard worker, housing 16 Business Class seats in a comfy 2-2 layout—ideal for a romance novel session albeit slightly less private—plus 168 Economy seats in a hated 3-3 configuration.

4.5 outta 5 stars

Hey, A321… Baby, you ain't Cirrus, but you do just fine, ok? The Recliner Business Class seats on our plane might not have the luxe of the long-haul Cirrus Business Class seats from our previous flight (check out the sordid details here), but they get the job done, so suck it up and enjoy the ride!

Each of the 16 Business Class seats has a generous 45 inches of legroom (more than most condos, bro') with approximately 10 inches of recline and extendable foot and leg rests to stretch out. Sit back, relax, and pass out while we fly through the jet stream, suckers!

A control panel on the side of the seat allows passengers to adjust the seat functions during the flight, while the stowable tray table tucks neatly on the armrest. Cinematic!

Despite the lack of in-flight entertainment (IFE) screens in both Business AND Economy, there's precious little time to watch TV since most of the flight time is spent dining and taking off/landing.

4.5 outta 5 stars

What really makes this bird soar, though, is the crew. On today's flight, we got the stellar fortune of an outstanding crew member, the captivating Minh Chau. Stewardess extraordinaire—and let's hope she sticks around for more flights—this gal provided impeccable customer service, so kick back and revel in the drama!

The food, you ask? If you're not proudly Cambodian or Vietnamese yourself, get ready to indulge in what is sure to be the most delicious Asian cuisine you've ever tasted. Cheers to early lunch service and the Oriental Fish selection—a tried-and-true fan favourite on Vietnam Airlines—featuring a deliciously crafted casserole of fried rice with vegetables, complemented by an earthy, beautifully presented seafood medley of fish and prawns.

Wash it all down with a hot beverage and enjoy the view of the passing clouds, knowing full well that members of the competition will envy your every move. Vietnam Airlines is winning this game, so save them the heartache, wouldn't ya?

To sum up the competition, flying Vietnam Airlines' regional Business Class will cost you approximately SGD 727, a steal considering the luxurious amenities and impeccable service that come with a Business class ticket.

Fight for victory, commanders! Stay classy, and we'll see you in the skies!
