Cultural Rucksack Münster Seeks 2026 Program Ideas
The Cultural Rucksack Münster, having already facilitated over 200 free or low-cost cultural experiences, is now inviting suggestions for its 2026 program. The municipal cultural office is accepting proposals from local institutions and cultural actors until November 28, 2025.
The Cultural Rucksack Münster, funded by the state program 'Cultural Rucksack NRW', offers young participants aged 10 to 14 the chance to explore various cultural landscapes. Previous projects have included designing city furniture, creating street art, inventing monsters for short films, and learning breakdance techniques. The program encourages experimentation and participation in diverse cultural areas such as film, art, literature, theater, and dance. Projects for the 2026 program are expected to start in March following a jury's decision in January. The application portal can be found at www.stadt-muenster.de/kulturamt.
The Cultural Rucksack Münster aims to reach more young people in their districts with a diverse, participatory program in 2026. Local cultural institutions and actors are encouraged to submit their proposals by November 28, 2025, to be considered for funding.
