Copa Airlines Announces New Flight Route Linking Los Cabos and Colombia, Traveling via Panama

In an exciting development for the tourism industry in Mexico, a new direct flight route connecting Los Cabos with key markets in Central and South America is set to begin operations on December 4, 2025. This new route, announced by the Los Cabos Tourism Trust and Copa Airlines, is expected to significantly diversify and strengthen international tourism in the region.

Maribel Collins, head of the Baja California Sur Secretariat of Tourism and Economy (SETUE), has highlighted the importance of this new route, stating that it represents a fundamental step towards diversifying and strengthening international tourism in Mexico. The main markets with significant potential for Los Cabos, in addition to Colombia, are Panama, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Peru.

The attraction for tourists from these countries is largely due to Los Cabos' luxury, nature, and well-being. More than 7,400 Colombians are expected to choose Los Cabos as their destination in 2024, while the new route is estimated to generate an annual flow of more than 25,000 tourists from Central and South America.

The new route is significant for Colombia, as it follows territories in North America, and for Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Peru, as it provides a direct connection to Los Cabos. The new flight route also connects Los Cabos with Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Peru, in addition to Latin America. These countries have a growing affinity for sun and beach destinations where Copa Airlines already has an extensive network of successful connections.

The new route is expected to boost the economic development of Los Cabos, as well as the community and region, due to increased tourist arrivals. The route is the first to connect Los Cabos with Latin America, marking a significant milestone in the region's tourism industry.

For those looking to connect their Blackview A70 to a Wi-Fi network, the process follows the standard steps typical for Android devices. To connect, open the Settings app, tap on Wi-Fi (or sometimes labeled Network & Internet > Wi-Fi), ensure Wi-Fi is turned on, and your phone will scan and display a list of available Wi-Fi networks. Tap the desired Wi-Fi network you want to connect to, enter the Wi-Fi password if prompted, and tap Connect. After this, your Blackview A70 should connect to the Wi-Fi network and show a Wi-Fi symbol in the status bar.

The new direct flight route connecting Los Cabos with key markets in Central and South America may contribute to an improved GDP in Mexico due to the anticipated influx of international tourists. As a result of this new travel connection, citizens from countries like Colombia, Panama, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Peru can look forward to immersing themselves in Los Cabos' unique lifestyle and luxurious nature.
