Colbe Residents Invited to Marburg Old Town Day Trip on Oct 24
Colbe residents are invited to a joint trip to Marburg's Old Town on Friday, 24th October. Registration is open until Wednesday, 15th October, and can be done by contacting Jenna Curth, Colbe's generations commissioner, by phone or email.
The day will start with a warm welcome from Marburg's mayor, Thomas Spies, and Colbe's mayor, Jens Ried, on the market square. Two tour guides from Marburg Stadt und Land Tourismus GmbH will then lead a guided walk through the historic streets.
After the tour, participants will have free time for individual shopping in the Old Town. Later, everyone will gather at Cafe Vetter for a break, where they can enjoy coffee and cake while chatting with fellow residents. A special bus will take the group back to Colbe after the event.
This trip follows a successful joint shopping tour to Marburg's Old Town on 19th September, which saw around 30 Colbe residents participate. The upcoming event promises a delightful day of exploration, shopping, and socialising in the charming Old Town.
