The flight in question was a Ryanair from Berlin to Milan, which made an unscheduled stop in Memmingen approximately 8:25 PM on a stormy Wednesday night due to aggressive air disturbances.
The authorities reported a total of seven injured passengers and one crew member as a result of the turbulence. Initially, there was speculation that nine individuals had been hurt, but ultimately it was confirmed that only seven suffered from minor to moderate injuries. Three of the injured passengers were transported to hospitals: a young child sustained bruises, a woman encountered a head wound, and another passenger complained of back pain. Of the 179 passengers and six crew members on board, it was a bumpy ride for a select few.
