Looking ahead to 2025, the CEOs have a rosy outlook. Even in just the first half of the year, hot events like the International German Gymnastics Festival, the European Gymnastics Championships, and the Leipzig Book Fair have already drawn huge crowds to Leipzig.
Germany is a powerhouse in the trade fair world, with over 310 events happening annually across 70 exhibition centers. The industry association, AUMA, champions these companies, which collectively create over 230,000 jobs and attract millions of visitors each year.
